2024 Commissioning of the Automated Small Parts Warehouse (AKL)
With the new Automated Small Parts Warehouse (AKL), STASTO significantly increases efficiency in warehouse management.
Employees are relieved and can focus on higher value creation. The result: a significantly reduced error rate and fast throughput times in the handling of small parts – in the best STASTO tradition.
2023 STASTO moves into the new company building
After three years of intensive planning and construction, STASTO has successfully completed the extension and remodelling of the company building. Under the motto "Innovation demands the best workplaces", the modernised site now combines advanced office space with highly developed warehouse logistics to ensure optimum working conditions and efficient processes.
2021 Infotainment Tirol is founded
Under the umbrella of the STASTO Group, Infotainment Tirol is emerging as a new, pioneering division focused on creating interactive and captivating experiences. Infotainment Tirol combines state-of-the-art technology with creative storytelling to inform and entertain both local and international visitors in a unique way. This expansion of the STASTO Group opens up new opportunities to create exciting thematic worlds through innovative concepts and customized content. 2018 investment in PowUnity GmbH
In autumn 2018, STASTO acquires a 50% stake in the startup PowUnity. The company, founded in Tyrol, focuses on BikeTrax – a GPS-based theft protection system for e-bikes. Full integration into the STASTO organization enables logistical, commercial and organizational development to the highest standard. From startup to market leader – an exciting story!
2013 On the podium again at Austria's Leading Companies
In 2013, Wirtschaftsblatt, Austria’s largest business newspaper, once again joined forces with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Kreditschutzverband 1870 to identify the country’s most dynamic companies. The individual enterprises are evaluated on the basis of the most important business management key figures from the past four years.
After achieving first place in Tyrol among medium-sized companies in both 2011 and 2012, STASTO took third place! We are very pleased with this excellent result, as it confirms the high quality of our collaborative partnership-based work.
2013 investment in MS PROMCOM d.o.o.
In July 2013, STASTO acquired a 50% stake in MS Promcom d.o.o. in Belgrade. MS Promcom had been selling STASTO products and services for several years. Due to a generation change at the top of the company, the opportunity for a shareholding arose. From now on, the markets of Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro will be serviced directly by MS Promcom. This is a further step towards expansion in order to provide the best possible local customer service.
2011 Founding of STASTO International KG
2011 Founding of STASTO International KG
In order to optimally advance and coordinate the ongoing STASTO expansion steps, STASTO International was founded as a new limited partnership (KG) in August 2011. The company headquarters are located in the STASTO Austria building. STASTO International supports all STASTO companies in the areas of Management, Product & Partner Management, Data Management and Marketing. Currently, 5 people are dedicated to these tasks.
2010 investment in Pneumatika Hungaria Kft
In November 2010, STASTO acquires a 50% stake in Pneumatika Hungaria Kft. in Budapest. The market expertise of the well-established company in Hungary, combined with STASTO’s broad range of products and services, provides ideal conditions for a successful partnership.
2006 Double success in the catalog benchmark
Within the framework of the “Großer KatalogBenchmark 2006”, this question was answered for the second time. STASTO achieved first place in the categories “Automation Technology” and “Fasteners and Fittings” respectively.
The “Großer KatalogBenchmark” is an independent competition specifically for technical catalogues in print and online. Based on more than 130 criteria, the participating catalogues and shops are professionally analysed, compared and evaluated within their industry. This review provides valuable insights into the current market position of the catalogue and thus enables optimisation for the customer.
2005 Company foundation STASTO Poland
On 26.09.2005, STASTO Automation Sp.z o.o. is founded in Poland. This 100% STASTO subsidiary currently employs 7 staff members. The Polish market offers attractive potential, which is being fully exploited through professional market development. This also provides an important long-term benefit to our existing customers. With a higher overall volume, STASTO can increase its attractiveness to its manufacturers. This ensures and further develops a high-quality range of products of the highest quality and project-related services.
2005 Award of the Pater Gapp Prize
Social commitment and an exceptionally good relationship with its employees make STASTO a role model for Tyrolean companies. The Catholic Workers’ Movement presents STASTO with the newly established Pater Gapp Recognition Award for its achievements.
During a solemn mass, Bishop Manfred Scheuer presents the certificate and award to Managing Director Christof Stocker.
2003 Change of generations at the top management
A generational change at the top management level takes place in May 2003. Christof Stocker takes over the management from his father – company founder and shareholder – Gerhard Stocker.
The originator of the unique STASTO corporate philosophy remains a personally liable shareholder. Building on the innovative groundwork laid by his father, Christof Stocker focuses on a flat hierarchy and grassroots-oriented objectives.
2000 Tyrolean Brand Award
STASTO convinced the jury with exemplary and consistent brand management, especially internally: "The values are lived out in the company - a success on which STASTO is to be congratulated!" STASTO's brand policy is essentially characterised by the fact that it is the details that are of decisive importance for the success of a brand: The actions of the STASTO co-entrepreneurs, the products and the STASTO services shape the company's image every day.
1994 Founding of STASTO Czech Republic and construction of a company building
After six years of working the Czech market, the company STASTO Automation s.r.o. is founded in Týnec, approx. 30 km south of Prague, in 1994. The Czech sister company develops exemplarily - a conversion and extension has already been realised.
1993 Development and introduction of the STASTO MitUnternehmerModell
As early as 1993, STASTO took a new path in entrepreneurial thinking and in the development of its corporate culture by implementing the STASTO MitUnternehmerModell. After a certain period of time, every female and male employee is invited not only to contribute to the company’s success, but also to share in it as a shareholder.
1974 Company foundation STASTO Austria
In 1974, Otto Staudacher and Gerhard Stocker decide to found STASTO together. The first company headquarters is an old flat in Gabelsbergerstraße in Innsbruck. - The company trades in solenoid valves and compressed air fittings. The two HTL engineers Staudacher and Stocker alternate between field and office work every week. After only a few months, the two-man team is strengthened by the first female employee. In 1975, STASTO achieves an annual turnover of € 0.21 million (ATS 3 million).
